I'm going to keep this one short but sweet. Jen and I were on a road trip to Vegas to see the Backstreet Boys on my birthday. On our way we found a dried up lake/desert. We got out and let our hair fly and stretched out our legs.
I'm loving stripes right now and when I saw this H&M Studio top I knew it was meant to be in my closet. It's a classic piece and it looks great paired with so many things. Because it's beaded I can wear it dressed down with denim or dressed up with a cute pencil skirt and still look a little extra (I'm talking the good extra)...
I wanted to share with you how to wear a denim jacket, like a fashion girl! I'm all for denim on denim, but I wanted to challenge this look a little. I love this distressed, super torn up jacket. Keep it messy though, leave the top of the jacket unbuttoned and off the shoulder, let it look natural...
On schedule was hopping on our plane, getting to NY, nestling into one of the best hotel setups ever with WestHouse, grabbing a bite at my favorite burger place, Bareburger and catching up on some Z's for the busy day ahead...
I love a good, daring outfit. This draped front number from DÉMODÉ is just that. Paired with thigh-high glittery boots, I was excited to shoot one of my more bold looks of the year.
You know, every year I've made the same New Year's resolution because each year I didn't follow through. This year, I've decided against an NYR...
Okay, so I'll admit that I was a tad bit frozen walking around the streets of YYC with Jen Rachel trying to find the best backdrop for this layered beauty. But hey, it turned out amazing! Am I right? ;) I am a total lover of all things...
Canadian winters, especially winters in the Canadian Rockies, call for warmth, comfort and style. ECCO's Ukiuk boots are a classic Scandinavian style snow boot and I'm loving their easy to move, natural design. I'm not usually a fan of furry boots, because they often aren't flattering, but these were crafted with both function and aesthetics in mind...
Effortless. Iconic. Modern. Three words that embody some of my favorite pieces this week from the Vince X HauteLook flash event (hyperlink to Vince Women’s Apparel Event). When I shop, I tend to head towards not only a good deal but quality that will last me through more than one wear. I want what I wear to not only look good but feel good too...
In and out of meetings, I like to keep things minimal, modern and sophisticated when it comes to what I wear. Love this beautiful white blouse by Wish. And isn't this skirt just amazing? What's do you like to wear during workday meetings?

This past weekend we had the loveliest time celebrating my sister and her boyfriend's birthdays, yes, they both have the same birthday. Our restaurant of choice? Crossroads Kitchen by Chef Tal Ronnen. I think I have to deem this my absolute favorite place to eat. Their food is at another level. My favorite part? Crossroads isn't a place that highlights being plant-based, it highlights good food. It's a place for food fans. The theme is Mediterranean, and you're not going to find the typical tofu steak and tempeh wraps other plant-based restaurants serve. With the perfect combination of flavors, textures, colors, a superb atmosphere and welcoming staff, Crossroads is definitely a place you must experience when in LA.
My favorite dish? The Moussaka. I can't go there and not order it.
Would I recommend this place to my fellow vegans? Absolutely!
Would I recommend it to my not so vegan friends? Yes, yes, yes!
